princess tea party of the year!

Ahhh … here it is … the party I’ve been talking about.  Hunter’s princess tea party!  Which turned out to be a little unconventional … what with mason jars for tea cups, pizza for finger sandwiches and the birthday girl’s face painting looking more like a member of Kiss than a princess!  :)

So without further adieu … the party photos!

If you remember this post, I mentioned I needed some photos for Hunter’s upcoming party … you’ll see in the images below how I framed some and sprinkled them throughout the party decor … starting with a large print on our front door to welcome the party princesses.

This space is our living room, but I emptied out all the furniture and turned it into princess party central!

Another thing I did to work with the pink princess theme, was paint a few cheap photo frames with a flat pink paint … turned out cute!

I was able to convince miss teen to dress as a princess and paint little finger nails.  Thank you Tay-Tay!

These are cookies.  Very yummy cookies.

This is a shy girl who just wouldn’t blow out her birthday candles.

This is a mom with an inner-Cinderella just dying to come out!

In some of the photos above, there’s a little paper cupcakes in a polka-dotted wrapper?  I made those with crepe paper,
japanese tape and a little pom-pom on top.  Inside, I wrapped a ring pop and we had a little game
with the girls seeing who could unravel theirs the quickest.

Happy little princesses!!
